Students and parents of our class of 2019 share their thoughts and experience with Play Overseas.
Over our years working with international student-athletes, we are proud to have received some very kind words about the service we provide from both students and parents. Here is what some of our current students and their parents have had to say about our service.

Casuan and his father Carl on their Play Overseas experienceCasuan arrived in September to study his masters in Multimedia Journalism at Bournemouth University. “Hey Mr. Harry, I hope that all is well. I just wanted to let you know that I just arrived in London and am currently waiting on my bus. Words can not express how thankful I am for all of the help you have been with helping me to forward my basketball career and my education. You have truly been a blessing and I am very grateful for everything. I will let you know once I arrive to my lodging.” “Play Overseas, I would like to thank you for giving my son Casuan Caudle the opportunity to achieve his dream of attaining his master degree and to play basketball overseas. THANK YOU!!!” |
Matt Trella, one of four Westminster College lacrosse players in the U.K.Since arriving in the U.K., Matt and his teammates have helped the BU Men’s Lacrosse First Team to a 5-0 record to start their season, with impressive victories against Exeter and Bristol. “I never imagined having an opportunity to play lacrosse after college. Play Overseas do an exceptional job at communicating and making sure us American athletes are up to speed with the international process of admissions. After connecting us with some of the best universities in the United Kingdom, they formally introduced us to various coaches so that we could expand our choices of where we would like to go! I have all the appreciation in the world for Play Overseas for giving my Westminster teammates and I a great direction after college to gain a master’s degree and take a huge step out of our comfort zone!” |

Former Oral Roberts University volleyball player, Lara PichtSince arriving at Bournemouth University, Lara has made an immediate impact on the women’s 1st team, helping her team start their season 5-0. “During my senior season in the United States, my Coach started asking me about what I was going to do after finishing my undergraduate degree. I knew that I wanted to get a postgraduate degree, but I was not sure where since I did not want to stop playing Volleyball yet. That was when she told me about Play Overseas. I reached out to Play Overseas to see if this was an option for me. It was easy to communicate with Harry. I filled out a quick application, I sent some videos of me playing, and he agreed to help me find a University in the UK. He put me in touch with a couple of schools, and he helped me with everything (applications, paperwork, etc.) during the process. Play Overseas was a great support during this time. I am thankful for this opportunity, and I would definitely recommend working with Harry and Play Overseas. Thank you Play Overseas for everything they have done for me!” |
Jennifer Kubit, proud mother of Sean on her experience with Play OverseasFormer Albion College football player Sean arrived in the U.K. to continue playing the sport he loves, whilst pursuing his masters in Management and Marketing. “ As a parent of a Play Overseas player, I too wish to thank you for providing the opportunity to my son. He loves his campus, is experiencing new things, food, transportation etc.. he will be a more rounded man for this experience!” |
