Molly Named WNBL Player of The Week

Player of the Week and Team of The Week Honors for Molly!

Former Linfield College basketball player Molly Danielson has been named WNBL Player of the Week after helping her team to a pair of road wins this past weekend. The American forward was also named in the WNBL Team of The Week for her impressive performances in both League and Cup competitions.

On Saturday, Molly scored an impressive 27 points to go along with 12 rebounds as her team secured a 92-81 victory. Molly recorded a team-high in rebounds, leading her team in both offensive and defensive boards and finished the game with two steals. 24 hours later, Molly was back on the court as she helped her side into the WNBL National Cup Final with an impressive 12 point, 14 rebound double-double. The WNBL National Cup Final will be played later this month on Sunday 23rd January.

Before coming to the U.K. Molly studied Sport Management at Linfield College. After graduating in the Summer of 2020, Molly arrived in the U.K. just a few months later where she is now pursuing her masters degree in the same subject.
