Former GCU guard Cheick Savane, enjoyed a fantastic season during his year overseas, averaging 40 points per game!
After graduating from Grand Canyon University last Summer, Cheick reached out to Play Overseas and explained his intentions to keep playing basketball whilst securing a postgraduate education. We were able to present Cheick with a number of different options where he could continue playing basketball at a very high level whilst earning his masters in Advertising.
| Cheick averaged an impressive 40 points per game to go along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists during his first season overseas. From watching his season highlights, it’s clear to see he enjoyed every game.

We recently spoke with Cheick, who told us what his time in England meant to him.
