How do we collect this data?
You directly provide Play Overseas with the majority of the required data in relation to our service when entering your details via the online application form or via the contact us enquires.
Play Overseas may also receive your data from former clients, coaches, academic staff or friends/family.
How do we use your information?
We use the information you provide to:
– Help find suitable study opportunities
– Help find suitable overseas playing opportunities
– Help in securing scholarships
– Complete University Applications
– Guide you where needed on the student visa process
– Inform you of opportunities that are available to you based on your personal criteria
Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will be shared with only who works at academic and sporting institutions for purpose of delivering our full service.
Your personal data will be shared with university staff (both academic staff who work in admissions related roles and athletic staff) in order to help us secure you overseas study opportunities, offers of enrolment and scholarships.
Your personal information will never be sold.
Storing your personal data
Your personal data is stored on our website in our secure CRM system.
Your rights as a data subject
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. If we have asked for your consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Retention and Deletion
We will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations.
If at any stage you decided you no longer wish to move forward with this process, you can ask for the deletion of your personal information. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will
